TERMS & CONDITIONS: ARIJ Home Improvement

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by ARIJ Home Improvement to our customers. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or allowing work to be carried out, you agree to the following Terms.
1. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on the information provided at the time. Prices may change if:
- The scope of work changes
- Additional materials are needed
- Site conditions differ from what was originally discussed
- Any changes in cost will be communicated to you before work continues.
2. Booking & Scheduling:
Booking times are estimates and may change due to weather, material delays, or job complexity.
We will always notify you as early as possible if scheduling changes are required.
3. Deposits & Payments
Some jobs may require a deposit before materials are purchased or work begins.
Full payment is required upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments are handled in person. We do not process payments through our website.
4. Access to the Property
You must ensure we have clear and safe access to the work area. This includes:
- Unlocking relevant areas
- Securing pets
- Removing obstacles or hazards
- If access is restricted, delays or additional charges may apply.
5. Materials & Work Quality
All materials used are new unless agreed otherwise.
We aim to provide high-quality workmanship and materials for every job.
Natural variations (e.g., in timber colour/texture) are normal and not considered defects.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the job
- Review final measurements before installation
- Inform us of any structural or safety issues in the home
- Make timely payments
7. Warranty
We offer warranty for up to 3 years. Warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or lack of care
- Normal wear and tear
- Modifications made by someone else after installation
We offer a warranty on workmanship in line with Australian Consumer Law.
8. Photography & Marketing
With your permission, we may take photos of completed work for our portfolio or social media.
We will never include identifying information unless agreed by you.
9. Cancellations
Jobs cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a cancellation fee.
If materials have already been purchased, you may be responsible for their cost.
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for:
- Damage caused by pre-existing issues
- Delays caused by suppliers or weather
- Costs arising from incorrect information provided by the customer
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or continuing with our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
